What to give for Christmas

Are you having problems on deciding what to give your loved ones for Christmas this year ? 

• When was the last time you had a family picture done? 
• Generation pictures with the new baby that arrived. 
• What about  grandma or grandpa?  Don't they deserve it too.

I love taking pictures and it comes from the heart.  I am not a what you call normal, sit pretty and force a smile. I can do that if that is what you wish, however  I try to capture the true person. How they are, who they are and what they are. Their feelings and their essence.

In Remembrance

I wanted to share with you "my little soldier"

That is what I called his pictures anyway.  

 He was my first soldier I ever photographed I thought it was okay to give him that title.

However, 

to me he was Jason McLeod 

a family friend I've got to known, fell in love with, adored, and honor 

and so much more.

I did multiple sessions together with his beautiful wife Aimee and daughter Jocelyn

The three of them grew on me quite a bit to say the least. You see he is an Army man and one would never exactly know when he was in town. So shoots were sometimes spontaneous with lots of fun and laughter. 

 Jason was killed in action in Afghanistan November 23, 2009 

I will miss my little soldier

A little of everybody

I have been so bad on posting new pictures. WOW. Really really bad. 

So here is a little of what has been happening. I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures as much as I do. 

Everybody is such a pleasure to work with and to get to know. I am looking forward to many more sessions with  you all. Thank you so very much for letting me be part of your lives. 

Since it's the season to give thanks, I want to Thank my husband and my 3 boys - I love you all so much, my family and friends for being always there for me. Without you I would be lost and not where I am today. Thank you to my clients for being my fans and love my work and that you keep coming back. It makes me proud and work so much harder at what I love to do. 

Wishing you & your family a wonderful & happy Thanksgiving. Lots of turkey with mashed potatoes, Stuffing and laughter too. A nap to follow with a pumpkin pie, of course the whip cream too. Hugs and kisses with lots of snapshot and a video or two.
